What we offer:
We provide a range of services to schools with the goal to getting more students to ride a bicycle more competently and confidently. There are many advantages of early bicycle education ranging from increased physical activity, awareness of sustainability and making active transport a habit early in life. We encourage children to utilise a bicycle more often for short trips and, with the help of their parents, start riding a bicycle to school.
Bicycle incursions
We visit schools to provide bicycle education for a minimum of four hours and up to six hours. These incursions can be completed as a one off or over multiple weeks suiting the school’s schedule.
We cater for any year and age group and the goal of the training is to turn those who haven’t learned to balance on a bicycle yet into basic riders, and equip those with basic skills with solid safe riding habits that will see them ride competently and confidently on shared paths navigating around others with courtesy.

Bicycle services
Using equipment that is safe and in good working order is essential for any ride, as well as a successful bicycle incursion.
We provide comprehensive bicycle safety checks as well as repairs, which can be booked and scheduled before the first session of the bicycle incursion. This ensures all students ride on safe equipment and don’t have to share bikes and miss out on the training.
As part of the safety checks we do:
- break and gear adjustments,
- shift/brake cable and pad replacements if required,
- drive-train lube service,
- tyre pressure and tube fixing
All bicycles receive a detailed service checklist with repair advice, referring bikes to a bike shop for part replacements if needed.
Bicycle provision
Some students may not own a bicycle, yet. Our extensive bicycle fleet caters for children from age 3 to young adults and adults.
Bicycle provision as part of our Bike incursions includes pick up and delivery of safe, suitable bicycles and helmets and is an affordable and safe addition to our bicycle education program.
